Fight Fatigue and Fibromyalgia

Your mission, should you choose to accept it

Lesson 8: Safe Movement

Fibromylgia has many symptoms including chronic pain, including sensitivity and tightness of muscles, numbness, spasms and tingling. The wikipeadia description of “fibromyalgia” is from New Latin fibro-, meaning “fibrous tissues”, Greek – myo, “muscle”, and Greek – algos , “pain”; thus, the term literally means “muscle and fibrous connective tissue pain”

Why you need to do it:

Myofascial Release technique is a physical therapy working on pain in myofascial tissues. A thin layer which surround and support the muscles throughout the body. The pain usually originates from specific areas called “trigger points.” In Myofascial release it’s not always easy to find what trigger point or area is responsible for the pain. Myofascial release can also be used over a broad area of muscle and tissue rather than at single points.

What you need to do:

Learn how Myofascial Release technique is brilliant for relieving pain. The method is designed to be gentle and not as rigorous as physiotherapy which can be too painful despite the benefits it offers.
