This lesson is all about how food can play a major part in healing..According to Naturopathic physician Peter J. D’Adamo, N.D., in his book Eat Right 4 Your Type, the missing link might be the four basic blood types: O, A, B, and AB. “There had to be a reason why there were so many paradoxes in dietary studies and disease survival,” why some people lose weight and others do not on the same diet or why some people keep their vitality as they age, and others do not, says Dr. D’Adamo. 

He and his father noted how different diet and advice worked for various patients. Part of an individualized treatments it to find what your particular body need to thrive. He recommends certain foods to eat liberally as beneficial. others are neutral and some have certain adverse reactions and should be avoided for health

Why you need to do it:

Dr. D’Adamo explains that the practical application of the blood type “key” is that it enables you to make informed choices about your dietary, exercise, supplement, and even medical treatment plans. With the blood type “road map,” these plans can align to your own exact biological profile and the dynamic natural processes within your own body.

His research into anthropology, medical history, and genetics led him to conclude that blood type is “the key that unlocks the door to the mysteries of health, disease, longevity, physical vitality, and emotional strength.”

What you actually need to do:

To allow the body to heal and reduce any possible inflammation I would encourage to eat a variety beneficial foods. Focusing much as possible on choices from the list of foods on the app or list will reduce the burden on the body and promote healing.

Try changing one food type at a time and subsititute an avoid for a benefial food.  The O type diet is high in protein so I would recommend taking a digesitve enzyme at the beginning of a meal to improve digestion and nutrient asimilation.
